Clinical Supervision

Hello, I’m Melinda and I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AASW), Registered Clinical Counsellor (PACFA) and Registered Counsellor Level 4 (ACA) with almost two decades of experience providing therapeutic support in various roles, and I have been in solo private practice since 2016.

  • Parts approach (Internal Family Systems/Structural Dissociation informed)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (with a trauma/somatic focus)
  • Brainspotting (Phase 2)
  • Somatic focussed, ‘bottom up‘ approach (Sensorimotor Psychotherapy informed)

I am also strongly influenced by: attachment, polyvagal, feminist, intersectionality, non-pathologising, strengths and person-Centred frameworks.

In supervision with me, I aim to offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive supervision space, where you can reflect, learn, and grow as a practitioner in a way that is suited to your needs.

I can also provide external supervision for those who are employed within an organisation and not required to be registered with an association. Please don’t hesitate to ask me about this to see if we would be a good fit.

SUPERVISION FEES

I can offer supervision sessions on a regular (monthly) basis.

I can also offer one-off or occasional consultations.

If you are a low income earner, or struggling financially, please ask me about a discounted fee.
